Intercarta S.p.A was established in 1990 by four brothers who continued the work started by their father in 1956.
The company mainly operates in the waste paper recovery sector and in the recovery sector of recyclable waste such as plastic, aluminum, glass, wood and iron, in full respect of the environment.
- Over time it has become one of the leading companies in the pulp and paper sector in Italy.
- It has two processing plants in Pomezia which employ 50 workers and partner platforms in different areas of Italy.
Services
Intercarta SpA performs recovery, transport, brokerage, selection and compacting of recyclable waste destined to be reintroduced into the distribution circuit. It also provides storage and positioning services for waste collection equipment. It makes sensitive document destruction services. It makes environmental consulting.
Document Destruction Services
Intercarta SpA performs activities of sensitive document destruction, in compliance with the new European Standard DIN 66399 at its plant. It can fragment paper with a P-3 security level.
The service includes the withdrawal of the documents to be destroyed, the transport by authorized and geolocalized means and the issue of a written certification of destruction in accordance with the law.
In order to be able to verify compliance with the destruction procedures at any time -in addition to the possibility of assisting- destruction operations can be filmed and transmitted in real time on the web via a closed-circuit high-definition camera system and the entire video can be transferred to an IT support as proof of destruction. It’s a MACPRESSE 1500 dry mechanical shredder.
RESERVED DOCUMENTS ARE: customer data, details of employee pay slips, sales data, financial information, CVs and staff data, legal documents, any document containing signatures, bank statements, credit card bills, invoices and bills, copies of the driving license and other identity documents, receipts, old credit cards.
Recycling
Intercarta SpA performs paper renewal service and recyclable waste such as plastic, aluminum, glass, wood and iron in full respect of the environment.
Transport
Intercarta SpA performs transport service with its own authorized and geolocalized vehicles.
Brokerage
Intercarta SpA performs waste brokerage service without holding, transporting waste from suppliers to other places of destination.
Selection and Compaction
Intercarta SpA performs selection and compacting of materials in bales, reducing overall volumes by up to 70%.
Storage
Intercarta SpA performs materials storage service in special areas ready for the next start of recycling or disposal of the waste produced.
Equipment Positioning
Intercarta SpA places suitable waste equipment at its suppliers.
Environmental Consulting
Intercarta SpA offers consulting, training and updating activities in waste management for the prevention of environmental crimes.

Renewable energy
Intercarta SpA has a solar photovoltaic system for the production of renewable energy partly destined for its own consumption and partly placed on the national network.
The photovoltaic panel coverage is able to record an annual electricity production of over 900,000 kW/h thanks to its 3,000 photovoltaic modules of 713.12 kWp of nominal power.
The system has improved the environmental impact both because has reclaimed an old eternit roof and because energy production currently saves 300 grams of fuel oil per kWh produced.

Authorizations
Intercarta SpA is registered in the National Register of Environmental Managers Regional Section of Lazio (registration number RM19363), for transport and brokerage authorizations.
It is authorized for 1F, 4C, 5F, 8C, that is:
1F = category 1 (collection and transport of urban waste) class F (total population lower than 5000 inhabitants)
5F = category 5 (collection and transport of special hazardous waste) class F (total annual quantity treated less than 3,000 tons)
4C = category 4 (collection and transport of non-hazardous special waste) class C (total annual quantity treated greater than or equal to 15,000 tons and less than 60,000 tons)
8C = category 8 (brokerage and trade of waste without holding the waste itself) class C (total annual quantity treated higher or equal to 15,000 tons and less than 60,000 tons).
Intercarta SpA is also authorized by the Metropolitan City of Rome for the system of non-hazardous waste management through the recovery operations R3, R12, R13 of the annex C to part IV of Legislative Decree 152/06 as amended.
