Renewable Energy Production
Intercarta S.p.A. owns a photovoltaic plant for the production of renewable energy, used partly for its own consumption and partly fed into the national grid.
It has a photovoltaic panel system capable of generating over 900,000 kWh of electricity annually, thanks to its 3,000 photovoltaic modules with a total capacity of 713.12 kWp.
The plant has improved the environmental impact, both because it was built on a site where an old asbestos-cement roof was reclaimed, and because the energy production currently saves 300 grams of fuel oil for every kWh generated.
In 2025, our company produced approximately 778,898 kWh of electricity from renewable sources, avoiding the emission of approximately 200 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere.
